Kant, G. W. Hegel were also studying the issues that formed the basis of the theory of intercultural communication , V. Humbold, F. Boas and others. The term itself was formulated more than 60 years ago by E. Hall and G. Treiger in their work “Culture and Communication. Model of Analysis” within the framework of the program of adaptation of American diplomats and businessmen in other countries developed by him for the US State Department. The authors called intercultural communication “an ideal goal that a person should strive for in his desire to adapt to the world around him as best and as efficiently as possible”.
