Muhammadsharif Gulxaniy is an Uzbek poet and writer who lived during the end of the 18th century and the beginning of the 19th century. He was born in the 70s of the 18th century in Darvoz and became prominent in the literary environment of Kokand. Gulxaniy wrote in both Persian and Turkic languages, producing poetry and prose under the pen names "Gulxaniy" and "Jurat."
